Android vs iOS Pros and Cons

One of the biggest questions when it comes to buying a new premium smartphone is whether to go with Android or iOS. In this article, we will try to clear that confusion up.

Android and iOS are two major operating systems (OS) in mobile phones, tablets. Almost everyone has heard of the iPhone OS and Android OS phones. Both of these operating systems are famous and have their own style.

Android was developed after iOS, so iOS has more credit than Android. Jobs and Wozniak started Apple in 1976. The Apple product was their first iPhone launched in 2007.

In order to develop mobile applications for iPhones, they developed iPhone OS or iOS. In 2008, Andy Rubin developed Android, which is the operating system for Android phones. With Android, we have hundreds of applications within the Google Play Store, since it is open-source software. It is owned by Google. All or any mobile manufacturing companies can use the Android OS since it is available for them.

iOS vs Android.

Pros of iOS:

1. Security

Apple's iOS is extremely popular for the security it offers to its users. Compared to android, it is safer. For the people in great positions, such as business owners, CEOs, politicians, actors, athletes, the police, and the armed forces, the iPhone is the best security device for your personal and professional lives. There is no easy way to hack iOS.

2. Excellent aspects

Apple never compromises in any aspect. They use only the best material for manufacturing iPhones. In terms of mobile SoCs, build quality, cameras, display, and security, they provide the best. Apple is a leading manufacturer of mobile chip sets.

3. Best software experience

When compared with Android phones, iPhones have the simplest software. Having once used an iOS device, we will always pick an iOS device over an Android handset. Apple's iPhones have much better hardware and software integration than Android phones. The advantage of the iPhone is that Apple builds its hardware and software in-house.

4. Software Updates

There are no exceptions for Apple when it comes to software updates for iPhones, whether they are old or newly launched. And that they can continue to release security patches and OS updates for a long time on any iPhone. The number of Apple products is less than that of Android phones. Updates for iPhones can be provided by Apple for a minimum of five years.

Cons of iOS:

As with everything in the world, this iOS phone also has some disadvantages (Con's). Let's check them out individually.

1. There are few Apps for iOS, and it is sort of a closed-source application.

2. iOS doesn't support widgets and offers costly applications.

3. There is no compatibility with Android devices. It's not compatible with all mobile phones.

4. And in recent iPhones, they removed the touch ID. It’s one of the drawbacks of iPhones.

5. The box does not include any fast chargers. We may even see fast charging in future iPhones.

6. In conclusion, the iPhone is very valuable compared to an android phone with excellent specifications.

 7. Since Apple introduced the iPhone two years ago, its design has remained the same.

Google Android Pros and Cons

Pros of Android OS:

1. Open-source software

Android is an open-source operating system, so we can modify it to suit our needs. When it comes to change the software, restore the phone, etc. Android is the best for those who are tech-savvy.

2. Low Price

In contrast to iPhones, Android mobile phones are very affordable, and they provide the user with more choices. Several Android mobile-making companies are present in the market, and this gives the customer more options to select the best phone for them. Thus, Android phones are preferred over iPhones for those who are concerned with price.

3. More options

Many mobile companies manufacture their phones using Android as the operating system because it is widely used and is customizable. Additionally, every mobile company makes its own custom ROMs based on android OS. This can have both positive and negative effects for the purchaser. It is a fact that Android and Google stock are better than most custom UI skins.

4. Various mobile applications

Android operates similarly to open source software, so there are countless developers and creative individuals working on new things that will benefit society. This gives us a vast range of applications and games.

Cons of Android:

1. Every mobile company optimizes the Android OS for various custom UI's, such as oxygen OS, one UI, color OS, MIUI, Funtouch OS, etc. As a result, using the Smartphone becomes more difficult. Additionally, the ads are enabled within the custom UIs.

2. It is not possible to get software updates properly; only Android One mobiles get updates very quickly. Other companies give security patch updates once every two to three months instead of monthly.

3. Hackable: Android phones are generally good in security, but professional hackers can easily hack them.

It is extremely easy and straight-forward to use Android mobile at a low price.
